Humans are only one of the many colonies that inhabit the Earth. I bet ants think they are hot shit too.

On a summery Fall day, when the sun hung low and the leaf dust picked up easily in the breeze, I walked along the winding empty road leading from the Casino to the TV Station. These are old boots, the buckle on one side waves awkwardly after being ripped from rage and the other boot is too tight on my broken toe nail. I meander along with a mask in hand contemplating the fore-bearers of this road…

The will of the people has fully been realized with the installation of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. From the perspective of Leftists, this half-measure of Austerity Joe is not a relief, in fact it’s backwards. The true fight is not between Neo-fascists and Neo-liberals, it’s a class war that has only really begun to take charge between the unemployed poor, the working class, and the wealthy. This has been exacerbated by Covid-19. Your kumbaya from the inauguration was a sick joke to those that have suffered since the Obama failed era that was exploited during the Trump years. …

PHOTO: “Growth” by Tina Olson

Thank you so much to everyone who participated in the 2021 PA Green Party Elections! I have to say that I am honored and surprised about being chosen Co-Chair of the GPPA and hope to work diligently through this upcoming year to expand and promote inner growth for our party.

I wanted to also address some concerns about my lack of experience, I am so happy that people brought this up as a blaringly obvious concern. It is the reason I was hesitant to accept the nomination(s) in the first place, but moving forward I have confidence that the people…

FPTP is a term that is often used to describe our election process here in the States, but the term is a curious one that also reflect on how our society is obsessed with idolizing individuals and capitalism. The truth is that 99% of us will never be first past the post in our current system that rewards the 1% and shits on anything less. What is also true is that the first past the post could never get there without the 99% cheering them on in support. This conflict of a representative Democracy versus hero-worshipping is rooted not only…

I don’t play video games very often, in fact, my experience has been an ongoing joke in my household. If I could ever get Mario to jump over all of the mushrooms to get to Level 2, I may be more interested. At present, that daunting task is somewhat towards the bottom of the list. However, I do know that much like Mario, my life is a series of Game Overs and restarts. After all the lives and health have been used up, you start back up from the beginning alone and broke: Player One.

In June of 2019, I…

In 1966, the US Supreme Court made a decision to abolish the Poll Tax. The Poll Tax was used to target poor and Black people to discourage them from voting. Harper vs. Virginia State Board of Elections reversed the findings of Breedlove vs. Suttles. The latter had given state board officials free reign to impose certain qualifications to vote, including a nominal fee to register. Many states also had what was known as the ‘Grandfather Clause’ which meant that if your Grandfather (prior to ending slavery) voted, you did not have to pay a fee to vote. …

In our present day access to media-overload, especially with the upcoming presidential election, the only time you’ll read about the Green Party is from so-called liberal journalists hell-bent on assuring that Joe Biden is our next president. The tainted version of the Democratic Party’s imposed legal challenges against the Green Party come from a source of both authoritarian assumptions and dismissive overreach.

They believe, wrongly, that if they kick the Greens off of the ballots that we will vote for their unworthy and inadequate candidate. …

This weekend, as many Americans are firing up the grills and figuring out how to host a decent Labor Day BBQ in a time when social distancing has made any gathering awkward, people are reflecting on the Labor Movement of the past 150 years. Many people are conjuring the nostalgia of brave working class heroes and their rabble-rousing women folk. From all sides of “the aisle” politicians and political pundits will post an old union posters and say, “Happy Labor Day!” At the same, they will be actively trying to tell you…

How could you? How dare you consider voting for the Green Party in the most important election of our lives? You must be so privileged. You must be a Trump Supporter, you must be a Russian Bot, you must be a low information voter who does not watch MSDNC. Don’t you know Trump(spelled dRump, tRump, or Cheeto) is going to take all of your civil liberties away, force you to have babies, and…and there will not be elections, and babies in Obama cages, RGB, and poor people interrupting my BRUNCH!

…Change happens…

Ex-Democrats Are Lining Up to Tear It All Down

Now that it is official, the Biden/Harris campaign blazes forward without a nod to the progressive wing, ignoring and decimating their own as an attempt to steer our country towards complacency and status quo. The paranoia-driven and fear-mongering left leaning media is doing nothing to offer fair and balanced reporting which is leading people to embrace Authoritarian tactics that they have accused the Trump Administration of doing for the past three years.

The “Vote Blue No Matter Who” crowd is fully charged to shout down progress or criticism as a way…
