Presidential Candidates’ Profiles: Mark Charles

When I was active in my addiction to alcohol, I remember spending a few drunken nights re-writing the US Constitution. Obviously, my version is best kept in my long-lost inebriation-fueled PDF vaults. I’m certain my edits contained a lot four-letter words and possibly words that only can be translated after consuming a 6 pack of PBR pounders.

I mention this because the second thing that struck me while researching Mark Charles was a pledge to edit the Constitution to be more inclusive to All Americans. That is an amazing proposal that strikes at the heart of the promises made to protect and serve all of us!

Let’s back up to the first thing that caught my eye while learning more about Mr. Charles and his bid for US President. He’s has duel citizenship with the US and Navajo Tribe. This makes home the only Native American running for office and when you read more about his life experiences, you’ll be drawn to his faithful commitment to #ALLTHEPEOPLE.

Born in Gallup, NM Mark Charles has spent his life as a political activist, an advocate for Native recognition, a writer, and a Christian Pastor. He is running as an Independent and you can check his website for where your state stands on his eligibility here: https://www.markcharles2020.com/

I have to say that of all of the candidates’ websites I’ve looked at (and as an old school website designer) Mark Charles wins for his website’s lack of “paywalls” and it’s clean structure!
